The Zalando Fashion House was officially opened on saturday 17th January. The Zalando Fashion House is an inspiring place for all fashion lovers. Visitors can get more information about the consumer program Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown. They can also chat in the fashion cafe or discover the most popular fashion brands that are available in Zalando's online shop.

The Zalando Fashion House will be open throughout the whole consumer program Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown, and during the evenings of the catwalk program of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam, to provide the fashion lover a 'front row seat' to every show.

The catwalk program of the 22nd edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam started with a tribute to Frans Molenaar. Bart Maussen of FashionWeek Netherlands, to reflect on the life of the couturier and ask for a moment of silence to honour him.

After his impressive words, the opening show on the catwalk was AVELON, followed by young designer Liselore Frowijn and Edwin Oudshoorn Couture.
