SummaryThe 23rd edition of Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam started last night in the Gashouder on the Westergasterrein.
Nobody less than Aziz Bekkaoui opened Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam. He proved his skills once again during the presentation of his S/S 2016 collection by expressing his innovative views on fashion with flowing silhouettes and plenty of movement.
Vodafone FASHION LAB hosted the show 'Dark Depths' by fashion designer Judith van Vliet and shoes and product designer Chris van Elzen in the Transformatorhuis. The successful cooperation resulted in distinctive looks that showcased their unique approach by incorporating construction, architecture and nature.
Mercedes-Benz presents Monique Collignon Haute Couture was the epitome of style and elegance. For the F/W 2015 collection Monique Collignon created feminine and sophisticated looks with fabrics that consisted of recycled PET bottles. On Sunday the 12th of July, Monique will show her 2016 light couture collection.
Just a stone's throw away from the catwalk shows, visitors can get to know everything about Zalando's public programme: Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown. Zyanya Keizer gave a sneak peak of her new collection that will be showed on the catwalk today. The Zalando Fashion House was the place for guests to get ready for the catwalk shows with on demand styling- and make-up advice.
